Good Progress
Today a lot of the team showed up. We made very good progress as for as the robot. One of our sub-teams built a mechanism for pushing blocks to score one point while another team worked on a actual pulley mechanism for the hanging system. We still need to finish the wiring for the hanging mechanism the and the support system. Our next meeting is planed for this Friday from 2 p.m.-5 p.m. since it is Thanksgiving break. We do hope to have some images of the robot uploaded to the blog.

Fantastic Progress
Today we finally got our robot wired correctly. We are now able to drive using our Samantha module. Our next step is to construct the lifting mechanism. If we finish this all before the year end, we hope to make a mechanism that will pickup blocks. Wish us luck!

Robot Preparations Nearly Complete
All but one assignment for today was completed. The assignments that were successfully completed today were (1) moving the middle support bar of the robot farther back, (2) removing the two excess motors that did not power the wheels, and (3) removing all wiring remaining on the robot. Five people attended the meeting

FLL Competition
Sorry for not uploading on Thursday. On Thursday, the team recieved our drawer slides that we are going to use for the lift. As for today, our team mentors()Dave Baldwin and David Papendick) as well as three team members, Marquel Rogers; Kait Colegate and Sophia Wilson, volenteered at the FLL competition held at the University. The team had a lot of fun and most just directed teams to the rooms that they needed to be in. We had a team meeting and decided that we will make a final desicion about the t-shirt design. Our captin and co-captin had a meeting to talka bout rundaising for a FRC team over the summer of 2014 for the 2014-2015 school year. We are creating a list of possible fundraising activities such as car washes and bake good sales. Also, for this week only, our Thursday will be moved to Wednesday. Our mentor have prior obligations to attend to. And a side note, the CTC's NASA Moonbuggy team will start to have our meetings every Wednesday.

So this is out first actual meet in a while, which is why there weren't any new post. But as of today, we have made a final decision as to what we will use to lift our robot for hanging. Out idea is to use drawer slides and fishing line to lift the robot. We are created a B.O.M today and hope to have the materials by next Tuesday to begin building. Some of our members are going to volunteer at the the FLL competition that is going on this Saturday.
