Christmas Break Session
We are half way into our Christmas break meeting. We have a new idea for our lifter and we're trying to get the wrinkles out. First things first, make sure our lifter is working properly. Not much progress has been made since we only had 3 team members. But now that the day is half over, we should get more done. Since it is a 8 hour work session, I will make 2 post for today. The next post will be at the end of this session. Until then. :-)

Seems like the website is inching closer to getting finished. The table for our third page (season) is finally finished. For the robot, we got a lot done for only having two team members working on it. We completely threaded our custom nut piece and positioned the threaded rods. Also, we made custom brackets. Seeya later... or blogya later

Looks like a busy day. For the website, the bugs are gone from the homepage. No more random image size change. The Season page is almost done. Just need to figure out how to tags for the table. Besides that, its finished. For all that want to see the website so far, I will try to make a uploaded version of it since there is no custom URL for everyone to go to. For the robot, we made a cover for our control panel. The Velcro and hinge may help with protection and ease to get to. Not sure if we can and are going to use both or ether of those items. We also tried to thread our custom nut and created a backing system for the motor controllers. Thats all for today. ¡Hasta pronto!

Slow day today. No much was done (maybe because of the lack of people that showed up today). No progress on the website for the webmaster has no idea what is making the table and images act as they want to. We holed out and tapped the custom nut for the robot. Now, we are going to test the rod for the robot's lifter. Thats all for now, until next time.

FTC team Tiger Tron here again to keep you updated on our latest achievements. Today, our web master finish the final touches of the home page that could be done at the moment. For the robot, the chassis we made created a lower center of gravity for our robot. This helps prevent falling while lifting heavy things. We also customized holes in the drawer slider (used for our lifter) and looking for a way to max. our height without exceeding the 18 in. rule. The idea: make 3 layers, extending one by one using bars and gears giving us about another 16 in..

Welcome all to ftc Tiger Tron's blog. Follow us to stay informed about our progress. As of today, November 6th, 2012, our website designer validated out home page. The outcome was 5 errors and 16 warnings for a full website. Next step: finish the next 3 to 4 pages. As for our robot, we drafted a racket piece for our linear elevator/linear slide(which ever you prefer. Having troubles our-self on the name). We also shifted our motors to better our robot and started fund raising. We're selling coupons for Burger King and Popeyes. They are 3 dollars a packet if you want to buy one. Hasta luego nuestra personas.
